So, not that any reasonable person would let you do it. but it is possible to get a 10,000,000/10,000,000 creature by the 10th turn. and that's pretty neat. The power of Doubling Season mixed with Kalonian Hydra or Heroes' Bane with the occasional Solidarity of Heroes boost feels really powerful. sure, there are a thousand and three decks that will shut this down in a second, but I think it will be fun in casual play to be able to ramp up massive creatures in short amounts of time, with out any infinite combos.
A good starting hand would probably consist of 2 lands, say a forest and a Llanowar Reborn, an elvish mystic, a Kalonian Hydra, a Khalni Heart Expedition, Solidarity of Heroes and doubling season, or another solidarity of Heroes.
Turn 1: Forest to Elvish Mystic
Turn 2: Tap both, play the Khalni Heart Expedition and then play the Llanowar Reborn, giving the Khalni Heart Expedition a quest counter.
Turn 3: Assuming the Mystic has not died, play Cultivate and play the land it gives you to your hand, completing the Khalni Heart Expedition giving you 2 additional land. For a running total of 7 potential mana next turn.
Turn 4: Drop the Kalonian Hydra and transfer Llanowar Reborns +1/+1 counter onto him, then play Solidarity of Heroes on him boosting him to a 10/10
Turn 5: Using the appropriate method (either playing Doubling Season or another Solidarity of Heroes while attacking the Kalonian Hydra will be a 40/40!)
Critique is welcome! Please help me attempt to make this faster while keeping with the central theme of hydras! I was moderately reluctant to add the Elvish Mystics even though they help ramp up quite a bit, because they are not hydras.
