The basic gameplan of this deck is to play cheap evasive or lifelink-y creatures and pumping them with various low cost equipment with cheap or free equip costs, allowing you to hit incredibly hard in the early game and when your creatures die all of your future creatures can pick up the left over equipment for no mana cost letting them enter the battlefield with an extra 3+ power for free. This deck can get out big creatures incredibly fast ( 4/3 vault skirge on turn 3 for example) and can play fairly long if it needs too due to it having a good number of card selection and card draw creatures and equipment and an insane amount of life gain.
Individual card breakdown and tips:
Creatures:
Vault skirge: essentially a one mana flying lifelink, pretty much everything this deck could want. Equip with grafted wargear on turn 3 and swing for 4 with flying and gain 4 life every turn after that until it dies
Gingerbrute: a 1/1 haste that lets you pay 1 to give it unblockable is nice in the early game and insane in the late game when you can play it, equip it with 10 points of power give it unblockable and probably swing for lethal. It gives this deck a ridiculous late game topdeck
Kitesail freebooter: solid disruption plus evasion, takes your opponents kills spells right out of there hand then becomes a legitimate threat with any equipment, even without one it can crew smugglers copter no problem.
Gifted aetherborn: solid creature and good on defense even without equipment and with it gifted aetherborn can easily gain you 10-20 life over the game.
Smugglers copter: not the biggest combo with equipment (they fall off when it stops becoming a creature at the end of your turn) but it can become equipped in a pinch and the power to fix your draws and prevent you from flooding out is incredibly important in an aggro deck like this.
Phylactery lich: a 3 mana 5/5 indestructible is insanely powerful and this deck can pay its cost easily, gets a lot worse when you have to put a phylactery counter on a artifact creature but it works when you need it.
Oathsworn knight: similar to phylactery lich a high power hard to kill creature, note that if its equipped with something that boosts toughness it stays alive when it has zero counters on it making it that much harder to deal with
Lashwrithe: a super powerful creature thats also an equipment that equips for “free” :0 can be a little small at 4 lands but grows very quickly and can be put onto another creature at any time to give it a massive boost. will win a lot of games out of nowhere.
Artifacts:
Bonesplitter: super cheap equipment that buffs your creature by two power, not the most interesting but fairly powerful
Grafted wargear: incredibly powerful free equip (the downside means very little in this deck) turning your vault skirges and kitesail freebooters into 4/3s and 4/4s as early as turn 3 is how games end quickly. Note does not combo with smugglers copter.
Mask of memory: an equipment that lets you draw an extra card every turn with some card selection whenever you deal damage to a player, super easy to activate every turn in this deck with the amount of evasion it has and can draw you into additional threats and fix your hand at the same time.
Instants and sorceries:
Murderous rider: a kill spell that can also kill planeswalkers and can become a lifelinker when you need it, very powerful and synergizes well with equipment
Defile: insanely efficient kill spell in mono black, can kill almost everything your opponent plays under 4-5 toughness for one mana as long as you hit your land drops, bigger things you might have more trouble but thats what murderous riders for.
Lands:
Witches cottage: basically a free draw a creature next turn when you really need it (usually against control) gives you good selection in the late game though and is a swamp towards lashwrithe
Castle locthwain: good against control and grindy matchups and is a great mana sink when you need it, its not hard for this deck to activate it when you have 3-4 cards in hand either since your life total is always going to be high in these matchups
