With the release of "Amonkhet", comes the mechanic "Exert". An exerted creature doesn't untap on your next untap step to get a benefit. E.X. Gust Walker. But what if it never taps? What does Vigilance do to Exert? Well, a vigilant creature doesn't tap, so a creature with Exert and Vigilance won't tap, but can still do be exerted to get a benefit.

Anyway, why does this matter? Because of one little card called Always Watching . Always Watching makes all of your creatures Vigilant (and gives them +1/+1), causing them to be able to exert without tapping. One word: BROKEN.

For example, take Glory-Bound Initiate + Always Watching . Playing those two cards makes a 5/5 with Vigilance and Lifelink... ON TURN 3. GG.
