Exilus Handicus!

Casual* WU (Azorius)

deebiia

The goal of the deck is to cast Induced Amnesia and to flicker it, bounce it, or do whatever you can to activate it as many times as possible to draw your opponent's library out. Deafening Silence is probably the most perfect T1 play against almost any deck as it begins to clog their hands early, which makes it so when we flicker the Amnesia, they draw an excess of cards each turn.

Casting Release to the Wind on the opponent's turn on the Amnesia can get us a lot of value for the next turn, depending on the board state. Our most powerful play by far is once we have a second or even third Amnesia on the board, resolving Detention Sphere can just be game ending. If it sticks, we can flicker that exiling all of our Amnesia's and when we flicker, we get multiple stacks of effects and then they are exiled again.

The counterspells are for problematic spells our opponent's want to cast, but learn quickly that they cannot. Render Silent is good on turns when they want to cast several spells or if they are a creature heavy deck and can get around Deafening Silence.

Reflector Mage and Echoing Truth can be used against aggressive strategies or just big creatures. Both clog our opponent's hand and we can even bounce something with either of them and then exile their hand with Induced Amnesia and that threat is gone.
