Fecundity, Harvester of Souls, or Grim Haruspex?

Commander Deck Help forum

I can't decide which of these to use...

Fecundity: Hardest to remove, even though my deck can bring back creatures. Also gives my opponents the advantage.

Grim Haruspex: Good sac fodder, but not human so doesn't work well with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, the key card in the deck, but it does come down early.

Harvester of Souls: expensive, but a huge beater, fun to reanimate, and combos well with mikaeus.

Also,

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed: allows me to recur most of the stuff that gets sacrificed with meren. And I have an altered art one, so thats a plus.

Drop Eater of Hope, there are plenty of spells and creatures that will benefit you more.

Also I would drop Varolz,The Scar-Striped and Hangarback Walker. They dont have enough synergy with your commander, unless counters and tokens were what you were after. I'd put in things like Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos. Those would put more pressure on the enemy :p

Not crazy about Eater of Hope either but it's clear you have a strong theme of sacrificing in your deck so I don't know that I'd cut it unless you're going to swap about 10 other creatures as well. I think you might like Thoughtpicker Witch. Controlling your opponent's topdecks can be brutal if you can sustain enough sacrifice outlets. Meren's one-per-turn may not be enough, though. And since you have so many sac outlets you may love Mesmeric Fiend, Brain Maggot and similar cards. Sacrifice them at instant speed while their ETB is still on the stack. LTB will resolve first, so ETB then permanently exiles a card and gives you info on what's in their hand.

So- cut Vampiric Rites and Necromancer's Stockpile for Grim Haruspex and Phyrexian Arena. Then, if you like the other suggestions I made above consider dropping Glissa, the Traitor and Viscera Dragger to make room for the Fiend and Witch. Finally, cut Darkblast for better removal. Yes, it dredges but the effect on cast is really bad in EDH. Replace with unconditional removal based on the card types that bother you the most.
