Hey guys. I'm turning my atraxa superfriends list into a 5 color list thanks to WAR bringing us that new bolas.

But in the past, every 5 color mana base I've built has been too slow to actually work. I put this list together kinda hastily so I could look at it and begin working with it, making cuts and adds and what not. Because I've only just finished it, I'm 100% positive it's not perfect and more than anything I have doubts about the mana base.

Any advice you can give me would be appreciated.

Every Revised duel land. Every Filter land. Every Shock land. Every Fetch land.

FOUNDATION IS THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE!!!

keithallenlaw I can definitely agree with the principle, and in theory that works great. I already run all of the fetches and all of the shocks. But the duals are kinda beyond my budget. The only reason I have savannah in there is because I got a good deal on one forever ago

City of Brass , Mana Confluence , Tarnished Citadel , etc. are all good options for fixing. Also, you should be running Nature's Lore , Farseek and Three Visits (if it's in your price range). Skyshroud Claim is good too.

For a low budget five-color, use green as a primary and tons of spells like Sakura-Tribe Elder , Rampant Growth , Kodama's Reach , Explosive Vegetation , Harrow , and so forth.

The upshot is that you'll be accelerating your curve and thinning the deck at the same time. Both of these greatly augment the effectiveness of your planeswalkers.

The other things is you have a lot of double- and triple-color cards like Cryptic Command . Great cards, but they do make your mana pulls inconsistent.
