This deck page is amazing and I love every single thing about it! Way to go! I love the primer, the atmosphere of the page, the deck itself... this shows some serious love for the deck and I for one am impressed at the level of detail and care shown!

Thanks Mordamen! Its been a long journey for both Teneb and I but I am definitely glad ya like it! Recently acquired a foil cradle and putting it into good use!

This is very different from what goes on in my meta, but as a fellow foil junkie I can appreciate the effort that went into this build. Now you need BB duals! ;)

Do you ever have mana issues? 30 lands doesn’t seem like enough.

Fatboy26105 maybe once every fifteen games I get land screwed but that happens to all of us. Usually you want to set up card advantage, other than that once you get up to three mana you can generally cast all the spells due to the low CMC curve.

Corpse Knight May be worth a look. You would be trading death trigger for etb trigger. Also trading life gain for a 2/2 body that could attack with tymna.

Yo Jeenyus, maybe I dunno if I need the redundancy for it. Never had a problem just having Zulaport Cutthroat or Blood Artist as my sole outlets for the infinites. There is also the place of having free spots as my flex spots rn are Tymna the Weaver and Kenrith's Transformation. What would your thoughts be?

I was thinking more of replacing either zulaport or blood artist with corpse knight. I’m back and forth with it in my abzan wedge list. Since you mentioned Kenrith’s Transformation Ill add that Darksteel Mutation offers the same effect with slightly better power toughness.

Nah my meta is really heavy on the aggro so life does matter. What makes Kenrith's Transformation into the cut is that it replaces itself. Card draw is very important. Darksteel Mutation is aight but not good enough only reason I'm testing out this one is really because it draws and punishes commanders.

I replaced Zulaport for Corpse Knight in my Ghave deck, but that’s because it allows my non-sacrificing infinite tokens combos to finish where the other two don’t. It just extends my reach just a little bit. If you don’t have a gap in your combos like I did where Zulaport doesn’t go off, then I wouldn’t bother with replacing it.

Mhm, the drain is important whereas the ETB on creatures doesn't really matter as much for the meta I am in. As of currently I don't see the point in having it atm, if anything I would trade Zulaport as what you did but I'm quite fine having it without it. I always have Riftsweeper and Pull from Eternity as a backup scenario. However the plus isde is having a 2/2 for Tymna but that isn't often but may count one day.

First of all I would like to congratulate you for the primer, it gives life to a long forgotten deck that I tried to tune. I believe the next step is a discord server regarding this deck. I have searched a lot for it and it does not exist for teneb, although I believe it is vital to exchange information and experiences between the users of it. Please consider my suggestion and I would be happy to provide any help needed.

Although I am not sure of the popularity of it! I pilot Teneb for the past 5-6 years and been still tuning it with every set hah!

Popularity is not a problem, but I think it will draw some attention. Most of people nowadays already use discord for a lot of reasons so why not step in. Update your primer with the discord link when it is ready! Cheers!

Would you consider Ohran Frostfang for this list? Similar to Toski and Tymna draw. I'm assuming the CMC might be too high though. Id love to hear your thoughts regardless.

mrdoctorman, it's as exactly as you stated. Ohran Frostfang is too high on the CMC curve slot. The only reason that Toski, Bearer of Secrets is in is for a few reasons, it hits the Birthing Pod 4 CMC slot as the only other option is Academy Rector in addition it also helps for card advantage, and also chains into the Karmic/Reveillark combo if needed. I personally like Ohran Frostfang but when going into the fast combo route it falls a bit behind.

Hello! I was using a teneb kind of deck but not in this way and with this primer, after building the majority of this deck it brought fresh air and victories!

I am using discord for servers about my favorite decks in order to discuss new cards, the local metas and more in depth discussion. I saw there was some interest in the previous comments, is the server made? If not I have experience in setting it up, I can definitely help! But of course the presence of the creator of the deck is mandatory to keep it moving. I imagine the server's use to support the primer on tapped out and not the opposite so I don't find any reason not to create it!
