EDIT: This is a once standard budget deck, but now I'd love to make it a fun, budget modern build! Looking for suggestions---I'm willing to double the price of the deck if necessary. I've been away from Magic completely since Born of the Gods, so I figured I'd start here!

Glistener Elf , Plague Stinger , Ichorclaw Myr for the early game, pumped with a few Giant Growth 's and Vampire's Bite 's, and you have yourself a win.

Mid game (seems to be most common for me) play a Livewire Lash on someone, buff it a few times, and you're doing 2-10 direct infect damage at once ( Mutagenic Growth is OP in this way).

A few Phyrexian Crusader 's and Hand of the Praetors for longer games, same as Fog and Clinging Mists . Removal in Go for the Throat and Tragic Slip .
