"When times are tough, the poor eat the rats. When times are tougher, the rats eat the poor."

Rat decks is what got me into magic. I've been scanning over them a lot the past few years, and I've noticed that few of them do more then just play rats and ninjas. This isn't your little brother's rat deck. Every card in this deck compliments the other. It's like 60 depictions of the Bubonic Plague in the palm of your hand.

THE RAT PACK:

Drainpipes. Typical chump block discard engine.

Typhoids. A little dude with a nasty bite. Great for offense and defense.

Burglars. Keep discarding, Charlie.

Rotting Rats. More discard more winning! This ugly bastard has a lot of synergy with pack rats, small pox, and call of the netherworld.

Pack. Everyone's favorite dirty squeaker. Synergy with rotting rats, and call netherworld.

SPOOKY SHIT.

Dark Rit. Let's you rat more and rat faster.

Netherworld. Collect call from beyond, will you except the charge? You probably won't, because pack rat, plague, and rotting rats lets ya cast it for free.

Smallpox! Keeping your opponent warm with sickly blankets, not to mention all dat synergy. Rats don't give a shit.

Pox! Just 1 in the deck, pretty much for the lolz. However multiplayer games makes this practically a win con.

Wastenot. Even Death pays his taxes. I don't know about you, but I love kicking opponents when they're down.

Murderous Cut. With our King Rat, his decaying lackey, and that plague sweeping through the country side, you tend to have a swelling graveyard. Why not fling the dead over to your enemy for 1 mana? Don't mind if I do.

Swarmyard. What rat deck would be complete without it?

Urborg. Man, who let all these rats in here? Let's you use swarmyards for black mana.

Let me know what you think! Oh, and I know nezumis are badass, I just didn't like the aesthetics.
