Update 2/22/20 —Feb. 22, 2020

It's been awhile, but I'm revisiting this deck, and boy did I miss some inclusions! I've taken the liberty to try and experiment here as I've changed as a player since the last time I made an update or played the deck. So first off when going through this deck I wanted to see if I could lower the curve of the deck and save some of the more expensive options for more powerful effects, so cards like Adaptive Automatonfoil were scrapped in favor of Changleing Outcast since the outcast was a much more cheap and safe option than just a 3 drop lord; I've also done the same for Samut, Voice of Dissent and replaced it for Madrush Cyclops for a slight change in cmc. I added Unsettled Mariner as an extra way of protection with low cmc and is technically a warrior, and I am currently experimenting with Command the Dreadhorde for mass recursion of warriors, Marisi, Breaker of the Coilfoil for combat shenanigans, and Throes of Chaos for extra free stuff in the case I have nothing and need warriors immediately and have only lands in hand. On another note I replaced Fellwar Stone with Arcane Signet because it was an obvious replace.

I just played my own Najeela deck for the first time yesterday and it was SO fun. Love your take on it here. I want to find a place in my deck for Rubblebelt Raiders.

In a similar vein to Throne of the God-Pharaoh and Altar of the Brood, Impact Tremors can be quite devastating. And Najeela's tokens trigger this before opponents get a chance to block.

For another way to cheat in warriors, consider Divergent Transformations. Trade two tokens for quality warriors! This card will usually cost a respectable 4CMC in a 4-player game.

Foxtober Always appreciate a fan of Najeela poppin in with some suggestions. Just like Altar of the Brood, I'm gonna give Impact Tremors a hard maybe, however it may switch it with Throne of the God-Pharaoh or just flat out replace something if I like the idea of it in the future; I love how there are so many cards in Magic and that even though I knew Divergent Transformations existed, I just didn't think of it when building, tbh the Transformations does look kinda sexy, I think it might get in.

How do you feel about Aven Wind Guide?

Avik4 I remember having Aven Wind Guide in my first ever playtest of the deck and what I felt wrong with it was that I only really got half of the benefits that it gives, which is evasion, which is a very cool thing to have for my tokens, however, back then I already had a ton of creatures in the deck and methods of evasion so I felt that I needed to replace it with (I believe it was) draw because back then I was really lacking in it. It may go back in since I've gotten through a few of my evasion givers, but it's debatable.

Cool, thanks for the info. I am building mine currently and while it seems good I can see how it might not be necessary, especially if you run into one of the combos. I am almost done and am very excited to do some play tests! Thanks for your work and info.

This deck is great and it inspired me to do a budget version - Najeela, Blade Blossom - Infinite Combat Steps

Arcane Signet for Fellwar Stone replacement. If you got one it is strictly better. Fellwar is

Also is there a place for Marisi, Breaker of the Coil

Rdmdhudlum I actually haven't updated the deck in a while considering the lack of good warriors coming out, although interestingly enough I did build Marisi, I didn't think to put it in this deck. The signet should have been an obvious include for me, I run it in everything.
