A couple days after the massive failure that marked the final event of my previous Standard deck (Innistrad-Ravnica-M13 Legion of Doom) I suddenly found myself thinking of a deck like this while eating breakfast. Later that same day I saw it was the Daily Deck feature on WotC's main website. Usually seeing a mainstream reference like that would be enough to discourage me from building a deck, but I decided to take it as a sign that my idea wasn't completely crazy and/or stupid.

As of this moment, I haven't tried playing it yet and I haven't finished pulling together all the pieces (except for a few lands and some random uncommons, I already own it).
