This deck was designed with the use of the graveyard in mind. It was has many vatients of how it is used. As it is mostly instant based, runehatcher's pike can be used to give creatures such as Jace's Phantasm an even greater bonus. By using Mind Sculpt and Archive Trap to add cards to your opponents graveyard, Bonehoard and Jace's Phantasm can be more useful in the earlier stages of the game. By using instants such as Mana Leak, Negate and Spell Pierce. Use Gitaxian Probe to give yourself warning as to what's comming next. By using Snapcaster Mage to re-use instants that you may have otherwise have not been able to you are also weakening the affects of Runechanter's Pike so timing is key to ensure that something awesul doesn't happen.
