My G/R spirit deck, the aim is simple, get the mana ramped up using Kodama's Reach and triggering the Petalmane Baku / Loam Dweller, get a few spirits out, and continue to trigger the spirit/arcane bonus on most cards. Once a few big trampler's are out power the hell outta them with Kodama's Might or Unchecked Growth casting a couple of these during attack phase with Kodama of the South Tree on the board can be game ending...
Traproot Kami is amazing as an early defender especially if opponent is running green too! Its incredibly stubbourn later on in the game and the reach is a bonus
Long-Forgotten Gohei is great in this deck for reducing my instant\sorcery costs as most are arcane spells, plus the +1 +1 to all spirits is cool too
Splashed red for Omnath, Locus of Rage seems as this deck gets lands down crazy with the Loam Dweller and Elder Pine of JukaiI was using Primalcrux but as good as he was thought id try something different and make use of all those lands flying out!!
The deck synergises very well using so called "bad mechanics" but in my opinion Spiritcraft and splice were amazing they just never got given a chance
Put it this way, on turn 5 with a Long-Forgotten Gohei or 2 down, im casting Unchecked Growth for 1 or 2 mana, a couple Kodama's Might with Kodama of the South Tree down, shows over unless you Fog or something similar. In which case Ill just re-splice next turn :)
