So here was the challenge for my playgroup: build a legacy-legal deck that costs under $30 (on starcity prices, and basic lands are free). Then, we would have a tournament with them.

Sounds easy, right?

Well, yeah, it actually was. But it was also a blast. This was the first of a few decks I came up with.

Some of the more creative decks I saw included an infinite combo with Melira, Sylvok Outcast , a guy with persist, and Lightning Coils , or that one guy who bounced Reality Acid repeatedly.

All in all, I did pretty well. If I remember correctly I came in secondish? I don't even know. But this deck is really fun to play.
