Mono Blue Devotion was one of the two decks that dominated the Theros Scene a year back. Since the Khans block has emerged, the deck has been deemed all but unplayable, having lost key pieces such as Nightveil Spectre and Tidebinder Mage.

However, with the introduction of strong cards such as Shorecrasher Elemental and Cloudform, there is possibility that the deck has some relevance within the current standard, although it is nowhere near the potency of what it used to be.
