Hey Tippycat thanks for the kind words! Your playgroup sounds like a blast. Never seen Sea Kings' Blessing before, what a weird card haha.

Hey - would love to talk to you about janky fun decks! I've been trying to make cards like Homarid Spawning Bed work (that one more in Legacy format than EDH - my playgroup is pretty lax with emphasis on fun - no infinite combos, frowns on lockouts and too many tutors and over-powered cards like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and often votes to run Planeschase cards over our game which creates all kinds of crazy). I love being able to barely survive and game and then out of nowhere win due to playing Sea Kings' Blessing with Willbreaker out. Anyway, kudos to your great attitude about the game!

Tippycat, thanks for the suggestion!

Sea Kings' Blessing looks like a great fit in this deck, but it is a tad bit pricey.. Doing color shenanigans with Llawan, Cephalid Empress is a whole lot of fun. But currently, I can still manage to do fun stuff with it using Sway of Illusion or Alter Reality / Glamerdye.

I'm gonna make a note of Sea Kings' Blessing, so it might get included at a later point :)

Sea Kings' Blessing? I mean, where else could one use this card? May be fun with Llawan, Cephalid Empress or protect your own with Inundate.

tiffanyann I hear you. Something more like Horobi, Death's Wail could work since you're looking for that particular mechanic. Would these be more on flavor? Rishadan Airship, Umbral Mantle, Hypnotic Siren, Shipwreck Singer, Whir of Invention, Barbed Sextant, Braidwood Sextant or Sea Kings' Blessing

Infinite Reflection could work really well. With the Dack Fayden + Sea Kings' Blessing combo take control of everything and and turn them into Blightsteel Colossus esk type creatures

Hilarious +1 from me !

Never seen a few of these cards before. Chaoslace, Quickchange, Dwarven Song, Sea Kings' Blessing, Sway of Illusion, etc. Douse seems really powerful as a sideboard card for Tiny Leaders(?)

I partially feel like Animar, Soul of Elements would be a more fitting commander. Adding a color would hurt the budget but it's on theme lol you have black+white as backup colors to choose from

Jori En, Ruin Diver makes sense when you mention the 2-spell conundrum of a change-color spell plus a destroy-permanent-of-said-color spell. Have fun!
