I don't really buy packs anymore, but once in a while, when I'm getting groceries I'll grab a pack to crack. Of course I pulled an
Abandoned Sarcophagus
. Worth pennies. Suddenly, I remember why I don't open packs anymore. Poop.
They say misery loves company, so what was a disappointing pull you've had recently?

I ripped a Dimir Doppleganger from a loose pack of Conspiracy and a Hero of Leina Tower from a pack of Born of the Gods. That felt pretty bad.

Best (and highest value) card in a modern masters pack being Simic Sky Swallower, needless to say that pack was a disappointment.

Saw a guy open an mm17 pack that had a foil Evil Twin and a non foil evil twin, he was pissed.

My dissapointing packs were all from modern masters (my last 7 packs bought were the following in this order).
Mizzium Mortars, Cruel Ultimatum, Cackling Counterpart, Broodmate Dragon, Evil Twin, Scavenging Ooze, and a Seance...

Hm... way back in Khans block, I got a lone Soulflayer...that stunk.
I don't crack a lot of packs, but I've actually never pulled a mythic rare. Ever. So that's bad in and of itself.
Once I got a Sphinx of the Chimes way back in RTR. That was bad too. But nothing compared to how bad Search the City was...

Me and a friend bought several packs a while back and on the last packs we opened i broke a Architect of the Untamed while he opens a Chalice of the Void.kinda depressing really considering that was the only card worth anything

Well, my wife and I got a fat pack from Walmart for hour of devastation, I reached for a pack but my wife snatched it out of my hand. It had a copy of Nicol Bolas, God-Pharoah that would have been mine if she hadn't grabbed the pack from me. Lol
