I have Two infinite combos I can use in a single deck. The combos are Izzet Guildmage and Rite of Flame and Guttersnipe for damage.

Also, any 0 mana artifact, Retraction Helix and either Zephyr Scribe or Nettle Drone.

What I want to know is that should I build one deck focused around the helix one or both combos with no protection? I can Protect o0ne combo bu replacing another, what do you think?

Usually having just one combo is the best. It gives you less to look for, and opens up more slots for other protection cards, or card draw.

Having a interchangable combo isn't a terrible idea, like have it in your sideboard, but if this is for the kitchen table, I wouldn't worry about it.

Edit: Use one combo. Make sure you use the easier combo for you to collect the pieces of.

If you are at the Kitchen Table, you can do way better than that.

For cards that search, run Brainstorm, Ponder and Preordain. If you feel like it, Mystical Tutor and Dig Through Time are both amazing, just a bit more pricey.

Your card draw also can be way better. Treasure Cruise is the hallmark for awesome card draw, while also being really really cheap. Concentrate is also an acceptable answer.

The only tutors for your said combos are Mystical Tutor, as mentioned before, but Trinket Mage can also help you find any zero mana artifact.

Hope some of that helps!
