Planeswalkers, can they be fun?

Ok So I've designed a lot of decks for Ajani trying to make a fun deck with a Planeswalker in it. Here are the links Ajani Wrecker of Anus and Lands Ajani, Mentor of Murder Ajani's Lifegain GroupI've at this point kinda gotten very Irritated trying to make one that would be RELATIVELY competitive and that I would enjoy. But my Goal was to make one where the walkers is a win condition or synergies's well with the Idea of the deck. Now that being said I'm not a huge Fan of Chandra and Koth.(Mainly cause my one buddy has a deck involving them and I hate it cause he has more lightning and burns than Darth Vader and the Emperor. I'd just rather not need $30-$50 just for some copies Leyline of Sanctity). Also I'm well aware top8 exists, I'm looking for fun and original that could win, Not Championship level competitive. So send some fuel for invention, or a deck that you yourself made or designed for the sake of fun involving your fav walker. the Only restrictions here are Please no EDH decks, and the deck must utilize the planeswalker towards the win-con or being the win-con. I'm going to keep trying, and posting more of mine because I never learn, and gosh darn it, I will design one that ONE DAY I will make cause I like the walker in the deck and the deck itself.
Do you want a deck idea for a planeswalker deck, or just plain anything deck? I would say how about a Kaya, Ghost Assassin
deck with the Festering Newt/Gift of Immortality combo?

I'm leaning towards Decks involving planeswalkers. I was given a pair of Ajani Vengeant and my buddy is offering me Elspeth, Sun's Champion I can of course acquire others but I'd rather they stay relatively budget. My friends already have a Tamiyo deck, a Nahiri, The Harbinger deck, and a Chandra deck. So ones not involving those three would be preferred.

I might suggest Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver, it's nice and fast, it pluses its way to the win (usually), and it can help you build up board presence if really needed. Also, I think it's not too expensive to pick up atm.

I've only made two commander decks before, but they were both fun projects. The first one was just to see if I could do it and the second one was... well just to see if I could make anything out of a strange theme.

Creating EDH decks is a really stressful process trying to sift through all the possible options and figuring out what to trim where. I just try to make it a fun project and see what happens. They took about 6 solid hours each to research and type up, but I'm proud of both of them. Hopefully they'll inspire you like you wanted.

I read the comments after I posted mine, sorry I missed the part that you wanted to feature a Planeswalker. I do have Garruk in the first deck, but he's more of a "win more" Planeswalker as opposed to being an integral part of the deck. Adventure Time doesn't have a walker at all... well, maybe you won't find the inspiration you're looking for there. Sorry :/

Jeez, then I noticed I read the title completely wrong too and though those were all EDH decks, lol.

Sorry, I don't have many decks that feature walkers because I have terrible luck drafting them. The only one I have that is sort of built around a current Standard walker is Shorty You're My Angel which involves Sorin, Grim Nemesis cleaning house by using his +1 draw to reveal very expensive Angels and Spells. It helps that those Angels and spells are powerful, and it has a "better than most" win rate for me locally. He's the only walker that I have multiples of and I ended up with 3 of them. It's currently one of my favorite decks to play. Hopefully that one is actually helpful to you, I should have read the rest of the post before posting >.<

thank you Hobbez9186 I was still looking into apex predator because he's friggin cool. but his cost makes him a much more late game card, rendering him kinda moot. I really like the Ideas here for commander, so I will save these for another project cause they're really sweet looking. But thank you very much anyhow for contributing.

Yeah I love the Garruk walkers, they all seem frightening but come sort of late. Of course, with green you can ramp him out in like 4 turns so he's not totally late to the party.

yeah that's how I feel about Garruk he's almost always strong and fun. but shows up just late. he is green so it's not too tricky to get him out sooner, but then you have to design the deck around mana ramping and stuff, that start creating a problem within itself and most of the time increasing the price.

Odric's Missionaries of Murder Ok so this is another idea of an interesting Planeswalker deck. Revolving around pumping out tokens and equipping people, then providing the tokens with DLC thanks to Odric, Lunarch Marshal then murder, lots of murder.

Hi,
maybe not a help for you but i play a 5c Plainswalker controll highlander. It works pretty good maybe it is a help even if it is a singelton Format.
I used a Stasis Lock a while ago whit Teferi, Temporal Archmage, Ral Zarek,Kiora, Master of the Depths and Garruk Wildspeaker.
It is not a whit Deck but this lock even works in Highlander so i imagine it can work in a 60 card deck really good.
