Staples for Gitrog Monster?
Commander Deck Help forum

So I made a Gitrog deck from cards I had lying around. Thankfully I had some win cons like Titania and Centaur Vinecrasher. What are some other important staples needed in the deck? And no saying crucible of worlds that guys expensive. I might look at the new one that's a creature though.
EDIT: Also how many lands should be in a Gitrog Monster deck? I've seen some with 39, some with 58, is there a sweet spot in between? I'm currently running 42, but I'm unsure if that's right.
@VoidCaster113Thanks for the tips! I don't know how my group would feel about the dakmor salvage combo, but I'll ask them. What are some win cons with that combo? I can think of deathcloud only personally but I could be wrong. I'll do for sure the devoted Druid plus quillspike combo!

Exsanguinate, Torment of Hailfire, and of course, death cloud could all work. I know there may be some black mana sinks in the form of creatures and stuff, but their names elude me

Life from the Loam is pretty solid, it gets you lands back and can put more in the graveyard

I second all of VoidCaster113's suggestions. I came in here just to suggest Azusa and Exploration xD

Yeah, Ramunap excavator's definitely a must if you can't have Crucible. Exploration, Burgeoning, Azusa, Lost but Seeking are all great for bonus land drops.I've won many times just by Skirge Familiar + Dakmor Salvage when Gitrog's out, with an eldrazi Titan in the deck to reshuffle everything. Basically make infinite black and draw however many cards you want! If that fails, Devoted Druid + Quillspike is always a backup option, but it's best to tutor the signature combo up first.
Good luck with the froggy!
