How can I make a mono-U deck without it being too competitive?

I've recently been playing a mono Blue commander deck with Arcanis the Omnipotent as general. The deck has been all about drawing and winning with a five card combo consisting of Reliquary Tower+Caged Sun+Deadeye Navigator+Vedalken Orrery+Jace's Mindseeker to mill out everyone on the table simultaneously. I've been told it's too consistent and un fun for the rest of the table. I love it, it's my pride and joy and the feeling that I've got an answer to everything is wonderful! But I don't want to ruin the game for other players, is there a way I can play mono-Blue without it being broken? Here's the list. So you think you can draw?

Before someone comes in and says that that's adorable (which it is), I'd like to point out that a 5-card combo is very, very easy to disrupt. If your three opponents can't find a way to deal with any of the cards, they honestly deserve to lose. There are much more consistent and easier combos to achieve with Arcanis, with Mind Over Matter and the like.

Haha...I came here to suggest some things...but your deck seems fine. They need some serious overhauls on their decks.

If you're playing with people who have either very poor decks or simply have limited understanding of the game, then it's entirely possible that your deck is too good for your meta. I find this to be unlikely based off what you've described, but it's still possible. If that's the case, you might want to think about what's causing your friends to feel like your deck is too consistent. Are there certain cards that enable you to dig for pieces or is there just a degree of redundancy there that makes it seem like you get to draw into the same cards too often? Talk to your friends. Figure out what is it that they don't like about your deck. Make them understand that you aren't looking to ruin their fun and are up to changing your deck if it is indeed too powerful for your group. Still, understand that if the case is that your group simply doesn't like your playstyle or deck, you aren't entirely obligated to change everything to suit your needs. Just be a considerate and conscientious deck builder, really. If your group is just out for some casual fun among friends, then yeah, you might want to tweak things accordingly. If you could link us the deck, we could probably help you a bit more.

Deadeye Navigator should be banned from casual play IMHO, so that's where I would start if you want to change your deck. None of my casual "friendly" decks have infinite combos. However, I agree with the other posters. If your opponents can't disrupt a 5 card combo, they deserve to lose. They need to change their decks. For example, they should probably be playing a shuffle effect, like an Eldrazi or Blightsteel Colossus.

To answer your question on whether it's possible to play a non-competetive mono blue deck, try playing Thassa, God of the Sea and fill it with lots of krakens, leviathans, octopi, serpents, whales and merfolk. Thats like the definition of casual fun times.

Thank you everyone for this information! The decklist will be coming at around 3:00 eastern time, but this has been really helpful! The rest of the deck is essentially answers or draw spells, with a few ETB creatures to combo with Navigator. Thanks again!

Here is the list now. So You Think You Can Draw?I would like to say that I've never gone infinite with Time Warp or bounced everything with Riftwing Cloudskate.

It's also 5-6 opponents btw. My playgroup is pretty oblivious to major problems on the board.
