More Ramp! —July 7, 2017
Volt Charge is gone, and has been replaced with two more copies of Harrow. Hopefully it's a little faster now! Hydra Broodmaster is also gone, and has been replaced with two more copies of Protean Hydra. It's token producing ability was simply not enough to justify spending mana to use it.
Instead of Burnished Hart I would recommend Courser of Kruphix because provides more ramp. +1

calvinwarning I might try that in the future, but not with this deck. This one is just for hydras. I appreciate the thought, though!

If your favorite creature type is walls you can use defenders for your ramp in here by using low cost walls/defenders such as Steel Wall, Traproot Kami, Jaddi Offshoot, Wall of Vines, Wall of Roots, and Sylvan Caryatid to develop a board and play Overgrown Battlement or Axebane Guardian to generate your mana. That way you can have your two favorite creature types in one deck and it can still be viable and effective.
