"Kill it with fire!"

Burn decks, because they're always fun to play :P Over the years I have played both with, and against my fair share of burn decks; however, my burn deck has rarely lost and has defeated two decks at the same time on several occasions. It has an average mana cost of 1 and an average direct damage output of 3. Granted this deck is expensive, but it is an easy deck to use for beginners and can stomp some of the best decks. Hope you enjoy!

As always, suggestions are always welcome :)

Card explanations:

You might be wondering why 4x Shard Volley, 2x Thunderous Wrath, 2x Elixir of Immortality, and 3x Ensnaring Bridge are in my main deck. First of all, there is a 1/15 chance you'll even draw a Shard Volley, so you shouldn't worry about it destroying too many of your mountains. Plus it does 3 damage to target creature or player which is pretty boss.

Now Thunderous Wrath is very expensive on the first draw; however, if you cast it for its miracle cost if it was the first card you drew that turn, then it's a 5 dmg for 1 red mana. You could use Lightning Axe if you are worried about drawing Thunderous Wrath on the first hand, but I wouldn't. Lightning Axe forces you to discard a card and you're already going to speed through your hand fast enough.

This leads me to explain 3x Ensnaring Bridge. As I said in my last paragraph, this deck speeds through your hand due to its average 1 mana cost, so your hand should be gone by the 3rd or 4th turn. This is excellent for Ensnaring bridge because if you have no cards in your hand, than your opponents cannot attack...well...anyone :P You'd think people would be ready for this card, but they usually aren't, and it has won me quite a few games.

Now for 2x Elixir of Immortality. Why would I add these? Well first of all, burn decks don't normally have that much defence. So it's always good to have some way to gain back some life in desperate times. Plus gaining 5 life back is pretty good. Additionally, this card is extremely helpful against mill decks. Just as your opponent thinks he's about to deck you, you bring this card out, activate it, and now you have a full deck of ammo.
