This deck tells a story. The story of the Hanged Man. Long ago, in a time he was simply The Hanger.

It is said the Hanged Man had a special someone once.

But this love was taken from him.

With a wrongful condemnation, he would have to hang the one he loved the most.

The Hanged Man would not have his love hanged by his own hands.

And so, he offered to sacrifice himself and go to the gallows instead.

The execution took place. But his spirit was restless.

The unjust execution angered the spirits.

And so, it is said The Hanged Man still roams the gallows seeking to punish the guilty and spare the innocent as he wasn't spared in life.

And this is the tale of the Hanged Man.
