More copies of fertile ground would be great, just to make this more consistent. I think You could use utopia sprawl as a passable version of it, if you put in more lands with the basic land types.

Thanks, Kushala, I really appreciate your thoughts. However, I've already mainboarded the maximum number of Fertile Ground and Utopia Sprawl only works on Forest, which makes it impossible to play: (tap)Kiora's Follower enchanted with Freed from the Real, (tap)Botanical Sanctum enchanted with [INSERT Utopia Sprawl, add UU to my mana pool, spend U to untap Kiora's Follower, repeat to generate infinite blue mana, pay Ludevic's Test Subject  Flip's activated ability, and flip it. Similarly, using Utopia Sprawl in the infinite mana combo wouldn't really help casting Savor the Moment.

When I said more copies of fertile ground, I meant more copies of cards with the same effect. You could use Breeding Pool to get more forests that also tap for blue, therefore enabling the combo. Contrary to what you're saying, Utopia Sprawl works on any land that has the forest subtype, not just basic forests. Therefore, you could use utopia sprawl to generate infinite blue. Breeding pool also allows you to have more consistent mana with fetch lands. Yeah it would cost life, but if you're comboing off, that doesn't really matter.

Yea, I'm aware that Utopia Sprawl works on Breeding Pool, but I don't have the budget to buy a full set of them. (which is why this deck is tagged a "Budget.") There aren't any other spells that are as low CMC as Fertile Ground other than Trace of Abundance, which requires an additional mana color. So I'm thinking about trying to work that in and see if it runs, but I have my doubts. After that, the only other options have higher CMCs, (Market Festival, for example). Given the decks slow start, I have my doubt about that as well. So I suppose there's plenty of reasons Kiora doesn't see a lot of Modern play.
