The7thBobba Deckazoid

Hiya! I'm all about casual gaming and fun building. More than anything I like flavour and thematics. But I also really enjoy an exhilarating combo now and again. If you see something that tickles a fancy, please DO comment, and I'll send you plenty of imaginary gummy bears, or tootsie rolls, or twinkie bars... Anything! Failing that, I'll definitely check your decks out, and since I'm a glass half-full kinda guy, I'll more than likely find something uplifting and cheeky to say. Have an awesome day and thanks for dropping by.

If you've stuck with me this far, you must be genuinely interested in me as a person, or you think this is a marvel movie, perhaps? Anyways, here's a few me-facts. A big thank you to hardhitta71194 for his tech-wizardly skills:

  • Color
  • Guild (Orzhov)
  • Clan (Abzan)
  • Tribe Goblins, or Zombies. You can never go wrong with those stinky bastards
  • Block and Set My absolute favourite block is Mirrodin, and my favourite set is a close tie between Shadowmoor and Planar Chaos.
  • Planeswalker Koth, baby! He just looks so mindboglingly cool! As if you mashed Mr.T and and GODDAMNED erupting volcano together. Also Chandra...
  • Ledgendary Rakdos the Defiler has always seemed like the most badass of bad asses to me. Although, Chainer, Dementia Master has always held a very special place in my heart, since it was the very first card I ever owned. I bought it at a game store long before I ever got into TCGs, just because it looked cool!
  • Common Prickly Boggart! Such value, much prick! Wow!
  • 1-Drop Prickly Boggart, again! he has a very special prickly little place in my heart. He inspired me to make one of my all-time favourite D&D; characters: Skalpel, the Insectile goblin, thrice blessed by Talona, Loviatar, and Lolth. He was such a nice lil' fella :)
  • Bands Can't all be about mtg, even though it is my main hobby. In my teenage years, and the first half of my 20's, I was a serious metalhead, and music enthusiast in general. So yeah, a few of my all time favourites: If there's some you don't know, I strongly advice you check them out: Disturbed, Machinae Supremacy, Apocalyptica, Lumsk, Finntroll, Savatage, Jelonek, Pin-Up Went Down, Swallow the Sun, Megadeth, Soilwork, Scar Symmetry, Inactive Messiah, Heidevolk, Freedom Call, Wolfmother, Pearl jam, Gaate, Guano Apes, Coheed & cambria, Blue Oyster Cult, Genesis, Two Steps from Hell, Gorillaz, Yasuharu takanashi, Corvus Corax, Blessid union of Souls, Akeboshi, Maire Brennan, Omnia, Kaizers Orchestra, Katzenjammer, Tom Waits, and Daft Punk. yup... wall of text.. deal with it ;)
  • Movies Oh, Lord.. here he goes again... Nah, don't worry, i'll just name a few: Fight Club, Leon, Second hand Lions, Forest Gump, Romasanta, Deadpool, Repo! The genetic opera, Iron Man, From Dusk till Dawn, Dog Soldiers, and An American Werewolf in London
  • Comedians Mitch Hedberg, Eddie Izzard, Tim Minchin, Rowan Atkinson, Dave Chappelle, Dara O'Brian, Anders Matthesen, Thomas Hartmann
  • Other hobbies Tabletop roleplaying, anime watching, porn, cernit sculpting, soapstone carving, drawing, videogames
  • Authors H.P. Lovecraft, Stephanie Pihl-Krarup
  • YouTube TeamFourStar, MTGHeadQuarters, ThemanaSource, ScrewAttack, Tolarian Community College, The7thBobba. This last one is me spending waaaay too much money on cardboard crack, so if you like cracking boosters, but also like having money, why not try the light alternative and watch someone else get poor, yet very happy?

Dude, that's wicked fast! I've said it before - and I'll say it again: playing with you would be a daunting experience :)

Yeah, it has! heh, I've begun on the last(for now) leg of my educational journey. There ain't really a good, concise translation for the title/position that I'm aspiring to, but I'd venture a jab at it: "Social, - and Health-Care Assistant". We're a gorvernmentally regulated, authorized and certified work force that operate alongside nurses in the primary public care sector.

So yeah, been a bit busy with legislation, pharmacology, somatic nursing, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitation, etc :P

But apart from being busy and sounding important, I'm good :D I just turned 30 and we had ourselves an awesome party. had bunch of friends over to draft M15. We had a 6-way battle royale that lasted for 4 hours. we had cake, crisps, and pizza during that time :) got myself a bunch of cool presents - a few lovely MTG products amongst them. And a gift certificate worth about 160$, for my LGS taht you can be damn sure I'll squeeze for every last drop of MTG-juice.

So in short - I'm great :D How are you, old pal?

ZendikariWol no worries, my man. it's not salt when I ask for your oppinion ;)

With regards to the skysweeper and the sniper - my meta is actually pretty loaded with fliers - and it's something my deck can't very well deal with... So whatever little I can do to tip those aerial scales :)

I agree with you on the ancestor. Late game he is kind of a dud. But, I do like to have 1-drops - and withing m tribe - he is definitely one of the picks with most vaule.

I get you with the marauder - but my guys do die pretty easily, so there's almost always 4 or 5 dudes in the yard - and that adds up. plus with an ass of 4 he survives a bolt to the face. also - love me some deathtouch.

I just wanna say - I'm not trying to disprove you or anything like that - now you just got me pondering ;) and I do like to play the devil's advocate on these sorts of things.

I know that the herald and the general cancel each other out - but it's a fairly slim risk to run. the chance of getting them both out at the same time is quite small. and by themselves they both offer substantial boons.

Heh, the Wood-lin... yeah... he should have been out of the deck some time ago - much too unreliable - but! He is one of the original cards that made me wanna do a warrior-deck in the first place- and so, he get's an honourary spot :P

ypu're right about spirit loop. it's very off-flavour. it is, however, VERY on continuous lifegain :P

I follow your logic on the signet vs banner business: it makes for quicker ramp. but considering that I'm in four colours, it's my personal preference to use banners since they cover more colours.

Sorry to ask you for advice only to "shoot it down" :p I'm really thankful - and you can be sure that I'll head your words when I do revisions. this morning I had to take something out - and I actually ended up considering the Sniper for a good while before settling on something else x)

Stay frosty, dude

ZendikariWol thanks again, mate :D! Nice! I had completely forgotten the warchief giant. I definitely need to consider it. What to take out, though, hmm?

Oh, you can bet your sweet, awesome advice giving, ass that Neheb is on my wishlist - he is so badass! Infact: I'm wanting three of him. one for this deck, one for my minotaurs, and one for my afflict deck - actually - also one for my rakdos...

all those walkers would be bombs! I'm especially fond of Domri and Sorin. Well, if a handfull of cash falls into my lab, they are most definitely to be considered ;)

Stay frosty , my man, and thanks again for all your suggestions.

If I ever get my hands on one, there'll be serious considerations to be had. angel's trumpet seems lit! I need me one of those too. Thanks again, may you have a great day, and stay frosty!

ZendikariWol, thanks for the suggestion, my man. I have no idea why I've never thought of the coat before - I even own one! I guess it's just become synnonymous with my goblin-deck - well, one of many :P I most definitely need to get one in here too.

I've never even heard of war cadance! That is bonkers! Makes perfect sense that there would be an offensive version of Propaganda and the like. That is definitely one to consider.

Thanks for you great advice, and stay frosty!

Beautiful! love your descriptions. If you toss in some lifelink, your rat with a bomb becomes even crazier. Basilisk Collar works double time. Swarmyard is also amazing with your little furry friends :) Stay frosty!
