Removed 3 Fade Away fpr 3 Commune with the god.

Removed 1 pestilence (2 are left), as 2 are enough. Add 1 cycling creature.

Played around with the sideboard. 2 Spell pierce against control.

What an awesome deck, it's looks resilient yet flexible. I enjoy the dynamic versatility of cards, some of which I had to take note to for reanimator purposes that I may implement for future decks.

Thank you Managem. This combo deck idea has been around for many years, but I think playing it with different plans is great.

Evincar's Justice might be better than Fade Away, since elves can deal so well with Fade by producing a gorillion mana. Also reusable, late game

Yes, thank you for your suggestion. I will try Evincar's Justice. With a ton of mana, it could even help me close up a game.

I like it. maxxing out the lowest cost cycling cards is essential, Street Wraith is perfect.
I'm almost not sure if the deck needs green the way you have it now the greens is a big cycler, and a really really good lifegain spell, but Gnaw to the Bone might not be worth green? It seems like a bigger spell like something with cmc 5-7 with a really dominating effect might be the way to go.
When I goldfished the deck I quickly got 3 creatures into the graveyard and had 2 Songs of the Damned in hand and a Gnaw to the Bone. Gaining 12 life or more over 2 turns could indeed be what keeps you alive (actually I play infect), but maybe just using Songs of the Damned like a Dark Ritual in situations where your not ready to go super big to ramp up to 5-7 might be better? Than we could play something like idk Dinrova Horror or Mulldrifter. Also if we do play green what about something like Commune with the Gods to put more creatures in the yard while finding Crypt Rats?

Hello! The problem for me with Commune with the Gods and other cards that put cards in the graveyard is that I can't deal with milling away combo pieces. That is why I prefer cycling through the deck with cycle.

I feel Gnaw to the Bone is a must in this deck. Often, I can get myself to 50+ lifes. That way, the game is out of reach of many deck (burn notably). And, the life gain is essential if I want to survive my own Pestilence and Crypt Rats.

Yes, often I play a minor Songs of the Damned early in the game to put some blocker up if needed, to gain more life, to cycle faster, etc. You should try this deck online. I assure you that there are so many interesting plays to discover with it!

Thank you for your comment!

Oyah I like the idea, I would have to do some tuning though, it feels too durdly for me and I'd rather be more combo or midrnge. 50 life does sound nice though (I really like infect, I beat a white weenies deck that got themselves to 50 life lol), It would be a good defense against most of the value / aggro stratgeies, only really losing to some combos or random rogue infect. I guess I just feel like the decks to be doing something a little faster. What about adding something that could grab instant / sorcery from the graveyard? than you could get Songs of the Damned back if it's milled off Commune with the Gods or you could just cast songs twice.

Yes, Infect is a real pain!

I could just learn to live with milling sometime Songs of the Damned. There is 4 in the deck, so it should not be that much of a problem. Milling away Gnaw to the Bone is not a problem, as it can be cast again from the graveyard for good value.

I need to try Commune with the Gods to see if this speed up the gameplan. I'll keep you informed!

Fade Away seems nearly always worse than Shrivel or Evincar's Justice. In particular, awful against elves, speaking from experience
