I'd always wanted to make a deck out of the battle slugs, and when hardened scales/corpsejack came out it finally had the glue to hold it together. Most of the cards I'm pretty confident about, but would love suggestions that may prove helpful for making it a little more competitive for a casual low budget-style deck. Perhaps more removal, maybe different removal? I know hit doesn't really constitute "budget" but I've been considering splurging on Maelstrom Pulse, if it would maybe be worth it? I'm trying to stick to insects/spikes for the most part, I just like them! Thanks for any recommendations!
