Sideboard


The goal here is to lower the opponent life total to burn range as quickly as you can, which should be turn 4 or 5.

There are creatures in this deck, but they act more like burn spells...if they hang around for a second turn they are more than doing their job.

This deck hits fast and hurts lots, wins on turn 5 & 6 are common especially if your opponent stumbles with his/her mana. The sideboard is configured against the mirror, a turn 2 Circle of Flame tends to shut the mirror decks down.

Don't try to play this deck in the mid to long term game range - if you haven't won by turn 7 or 8 things will go probably go badly for you from that point on...no matter, scoop it up and start game 3 for the win!
