So this is my very first deck on here that I have ever built on here so its not going to exactly be the best. Me and my friend were looking at our cards one night and he asked me if there could be a good deck with just 1/1 creature and we were talking about that for a bit. I then came across the card Rat Colony. I told him that you can have as many of that card in the deck as you want. He told me that there was a card that makes creatures with base power or toughness of 1 unblockable. And so it went off from there.
How this deck works is pretty much cast a lot of Rat Colony's and overrun your opponents with buffed Rats. First you put out a Bontus Monument which makes all black spells one less mana to cast and whenever I cast a creature I gain one life and my opponent loses one life. Rat Colony itself cost two mana to cast so itd the only be one mana to cast it. Then you put out Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive and that makes all creatures with base power or toughness of one or less cannot be blocked. Also in between all of this you can cast a few Rat Colony's if you can. So then you start Casting all of your Rat Colonys. Then, your rats get buffed for every other rat on the field by 1 power so they still have base toughness of one so they still cannot be blocked. Finally, you overrun your opponent with big unblockable rats.
There are some additions you can make to this deck by adding in cards such as card retrieval spells, cancel spells, or other creature. I was thinking Unwind, Cancel, and Liliana Vess. Liliana mainly because her -3 ability can allow you to search for any card from your library and put it on the top of your deck, so you can get the cards you need easier.
Now, this deck may not be super original and thats ok i dont really care. Also, this deck is not tournament legal. Bontus monument is in Amonkhet which has been rotatded out but if you find another card that can replace that, congrats?
