My favorite part of SOI is the new Odric. So I have been mulling over how to best use him. The other main inspiration for the deck is my experience as a Hearthstone player playing zoo. So I will start with the zoo part. Unlike with magic zoo the idea of Hearthstone zoo is to flood the board with one drops and than finish with some form of burst. In this case I am taking what I know to be the best one drops in Magic and when trying to decide the burst I choose a two hit combo of 3 mana 1/1 with flying and haste and Odric meaning that on turn 4 we should have 3 2/1s all in the air with double strike. The best case scenario is Turn-1 2/1 Turn-2 Two 2/1s swing for 2 Turn-3 1/1 Flyer with Double Strike swing for 6, 4 pry get through Turn-4 Odric swing for 14 in the air. If everything has gone according to plan that should be enough. As of now I have only played this deck casually but it has done fairly well if anyone has any suggustions I would love to hear them. I especilly need help with my side board.
