Thanks for the comment, JohnMichaelBushman. I've had a couple people mention going tribal, and I agree with them. Especially with the cards I have coming in the mail. If I want to maximize daddy Markov's eminence, I need to cast as many vamps as possible.

On another note, ixalan was amazing for vamps, as was one of the innistrads.

Your statement about Marven not going in the deck is the same reason I cut him from mine. Too slow. You still have alot of cards that I think can be cut just for better stuff in general that you have in your Maybe board IMO all those cards go in and you have enough stuff that should be cu, but you are moving in the right direction!!! Also be aware of the infinite combo from Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood . Once it starts you cant stop it, and that gets hated out of alot of groups. I took out Sanguine Bond for that purpose alone. Now granted they are not on field at the same time often but alot of people in your group or LGS may not like the infinite combo. Unless you are playing CEDH.

But great job on making improvements!

The maybe board is definitely going in, it's just in the mail. And if I get too many complaints, I'll take out Sanguine Bond , too. But I'm keeping Defiant Bloodlord

Syun_Wukong It's not Daddy Markov, it's Granpa Markov. Some people have that kink. XD LOL

Bishop of the bloodstained (little value for a one time effect at 5 cmc) - Bloodlord Vaasgoth - Massacre Girl (Hurts you) - Anowon, the Ruin Sage (too Slow) - Tempt with Immortality (There are better graveyard cards than this and its just not good in this deck) - Eldest Reborn (Just no synergy with the deck) - The biggest issue I see if you have a lot of cards that bring stuff back from the graveyard. Vamps nor Edgar care about that truely unless that is just the route you want to go down. The only one I think you keep is Faith's Reward just in response to a board wipe, but its a dead card if someone cyclonic rifts or exiles all creatures. Your deck severely lacks card draw as well. A few vamps I suggest that are just plain good and help with draw.

Forerunner of the Legion and Vampire Nighthawk Champion of Dusk Bloodtracker Well of Lost Dreams Necropotence Phyrexian Reclamation Phyrexian Arena

Keep going with the theme you want but you need card draw to draw the cards you want, and you still want better vamps than some of the ones that are too slow or don’t really help all the vamps and cards in your maybe are amazing, and will lower your CMC too and the cards I listed above I think could also help. Good luck man!

Vampire Nighthawk + Well of Lost Dreams are the only 2 of those suggestions that I own. I'll add them to the maybe board when I get the chance.

Bloodlord of Vaasgoth is definitely a little pricey, but he gives me bulkier vamps thanks to bloodthirst, and as of now, I don't see him coming out. That could change, though. Bishop of the Bloodstained is on my list of cards that are coming out once the rest of my mail comes in. Anowon, the Ruin Sage is one of my favorite cards, honestly, but for reasons not present in this deck. All the cards you, championeggo, listed in regards to returning from the grave, do fit the theme I'm running with. Vampires are undead and are supposed to be notoriously hard to kill, which is annoying when someone drops a Murder or Vindicate as soon as you get a decent vamp on the field. As for Massacre Girl , she is my field wipe. She's also really funny to play.
