Death from Exhaustion (With Turn 4 Win)

Modern Budget Control Discard Mono-Black

ScrOuch

The Idea

This Deck is all about bringing out multiple Psychogenic Probe s as fast as possible and then use it's triggered ability to kill the opponent.

'Cause it can take some turns to get to that goal, there are some control cards which also support that strategy, if needed.

The Cards

Control:

Extirpate / Surgical Extraction / Sadistic Sacrament / Shimian Specter:Get unwanted cards out of your opponents deck. Also each of the mentioned cards forces your opponent to shuffle his/her library.

Card Advantage:

Dimir Machinations / Shred Memory :Tutors for Psychogenic Probe or Maralen.

Maralen of the Mornsong:If you are close to winning the game but you still miss that one card which prevents you from winning, here's your solution! Kinda risky 'cause your opponents can do the same, but it helps to use some of the control cards beforehand. And if you already have some Probes her ability does additional damage to your opponent

"Ramp":

Heartless Summoning:Each creature costs much less. That will absolutely speed up your game

Crypt Ghast:Two Mana for one everytime you tap a land. Works nice together with Heartless Summoning.

Additional:

Lantern of Insight :A card to play if you have nothing else to do. It will help trigger Probe's ability. Also it's always good if you know which card your opponent draws next.

Ideal Hand and Play

Hand:

3x Swamp, Psychogenic Probe , Maralen of the Mornsong, Lantern of Insight , Extirpate

Turn 1: play Swamp, play Lantern of InsightTurn 2:play Swamp, cast ProbeTurn 3: play Swamp, cast Maralen and your opponent gets 5 damage at the beginning of his upkeep (15)Turn 4: Search for a second probe and cast it, cast Extirpate and use the Lantern to do 8 damage (7) and at the beginning of your opponents upkeep he gets additional 7 damage (0).

That's it already. I hope you like this deck and have fun. Every suggestion is more than welcome!
