The goal of the deck is fairly simple: black ramp. Use Swamp s to our advantage with Dread Presence , use Cabal Stronghold to accelerate into big Vilis, Broker of Blood s and kicked Josu Vess, Lich Knight . Protect our life total with removal like Cast Down . Ultimately, through the combo of Chromatic Lantern and Golos, Tireless Pilgrim (who is pretty much a one-card summary of what this deck is trying to accomplish), we hope to just overwhelm our opponent with value.
