I found Omnath, Locus of Mana solved my early mana problems for Sisay. Usually followed it up with on of them big fat Eldrazi Legends.

Omnath, Locus of Mana seems like a good investment. I'm currently trying to flip Sasaya, Orochi Ascendant to get mana flowing, and while that is more budget-friendly, it could be hard to pull off. I'll definitely consider that suggestion!

This is such a fun idea, and I really respect putting it in a budget framework. I really want to start putting together a budget pauper EDH deck, and looking at your work makes me want to even more. Hypergenesis can be a double-edged sword, but it's also a fun way to get a card out for free. Lure of Prey might also find a good home in this deck.

I like Lure of Prey a lot, but the restriction to green creatures might be a little too limiting for this deck. I am definitely including Hypergenesis, though, even though it is risky, since I believe that with Captain Sisay's tutoring ability, I stand the most to benefit from emptying my hands of all artifacts, creatures, enchantments, and lands.
