Budget Lifegain + payoff (Virgin Build)

Modern Budget Casual Enchantment Lifegain

Huuyga

I've been playing Magic for 3 weeks. I bought a Planeswalker Premade and a Deckbuilders toolkit and soon realised I would only get singleton decks build from that (did not even know about singletons till a week ago, lol).

Then I attended a MM2017 Draft comp at our LGS and built my first ever deck during that draft. Turned out to be a blue/white/black with plenty of quick cheap light hitters, with some lifegain effects and most being flyers. I didn't do very well in the comp overall, but did a lot better than I thought I would with the deck building so I decided to expand on that draft deck and this is the result - my first even constructed deck.

The Serene Stewards on the Acquireboard are intended to immediately replace Attended Knights once I get them.

The Wingcrafter's inclusion is questionable even to me, but at the moment they help give flying to other cheap cards in the early rounds. If I do remove them though, the blue is getting pretty thin in this deck and I might well just go Black/White.

Any and all comments are obviously more than Welcome ;)

Updates Add

I have managed to find all the cards I originally had in mind and have added them to the deck. I am glad to report that they work as intended and I am very happy with the results.

In fact, with the removal of the Roiling Horrors, this could perhaps qualify as quite a nice little pauper deck.
