Sideboard

This deck's focus is making it so your opponent not only has trouble blocking, but is highly discouraged from blocking due to how much they have to give up to you to do it.

The deck runs no real removal in the main board, as most of the time you can run around creatures, but if your opponent puts out a big dumb you're afraid of, just play this 1 mana act of treason for some reason. Tentative Connection. Don't want them getting their creature back after you slap them in the face with it? Sacrifice it to pump your Dreadmalkin or zot them in the face with Heartfire. You can also just use Heartfire to throw one of your own creatures into your opponent's face. Maybe even right after damage, after pumping the team with Labyrinth Raptor? That's won me quite a few games.

Do you like creatures with decent stats and keywords, but don't like paying a lot of mana? Good thing Grimdancer, Spawn of Mayhem, and Hunted Nightmare exist. (we aren't playing Rotting Regisaur despite it having the highest statline of all of these, because it's sometimes just not big enough to make up for it not having evasion. Have tested, works better without.) Sonorous Howlbonder isn't necessarily under-costed, but goodness is it good in this deck. Stormfist Crusader is in here because it's a decent body, has menace, and draws us cards. Our life total doesn't matter.

Unexpected Fangs has won me many games, and even saved my creatures, and should NOT be undervalued. Call of the Death-Dweller is a cheap reanimate for either a Dreadmalkin and Labyrinth Raptor, or any of our 3 drop creatures. It sadly can't reanimate our Spawn of Mayhem, but by the time we've cast one of those and it's died, our opponent is a Heartfire away from death.

Sideboard: Redcap Melee for more damage-based removal, including planeswalkers. We don't care about having to sacrifice a land, it's one mana. Tibalt, Rakish Instigator to side in against life gain decks. (the extra 1/1's aren't half bad either, but the life gain prevention is his main feature in our deck.) Drag to the Underworld for some extra direct removal for any threats that need to go immediately. Also some Grafdigger's Cage’s because they hose graveyard/Gyruda decks.
