So I recently got really interested in artifacts, mostly because some of the artifacts I'm running across are just plain awesome, and thought I might as well explore the idea. I'm mostly using Alara and Mirrodin Block cards since those were very artifact heavy (At least Esper for Alara) and artifact oriented, but I think that Wizards is coming out with a new Alara block so that should boost this.

You main mechanic is going to be coming from puresteel paladin and Sculpting Steel. I also tried to make the vast majority of the artifacts Living Weapon artifacts so that you can have a little army of tokens to defend.

The most expensive cards are the swords and the Urza lands, so you can just take those out and replace them for your choice of land or artifact.
