I have always thought that a five colored deck would not work. However with Chromatic Lantern it is much easier to summon creatures early. The deck can easily fill up its hand with Shard Convergence and Conflux.

Once I use Conflux I can search out cards like Maelstrom Archangel , Progenitus, Shard Convergence, Fusion Elemental and Oblivion Crown. Or I could just find three more Conflux.

Speaking of the crown when my opponent lets an attach through or if Maelstrom Archangel 's flying hits and it is the point in the game when my hand is flooded from a couple shards or Etched Monstrosity can discard them and finish the game.

The cards with land cycle such as Fiery Fall will rarely use there effects however they are useful in fixing the land problem. Evolving wilds is nice to search an odd card and believe it or not dark pact help's with cards like Chromatic Lantern and Conflux
