Make use of direct damage spells and abilities to kill your opponent before they can unleash their gameplan. Note: I'm not sure what of what to put in the sideboard yet.

The deck mechanics are very simple. As a general rule, play your creatures first to maximize your damage output. A Shock will deal 2 damage every turn you play it. A Fanatical Firebrand will deal 1 damage on its first turn, then 2, then 3, so it's important to remember this concept. From there, you can control the board with damage spells, making sure to use your creatures to make up for lost damage, or you can direct all your efforts to damaging your opponent to end quicker. If things somehow go late, you should be able to make use of Finale of Promise and/or Sundering Stroke to close the game out.
