Prototypical budget modern deck. Doomed Traveler s and Mogg War Marshal s in the early game build up board presence. Pia Nalaar , Blade Splicer , and Aether Chaser add artifact synergies. Once you drop Hazoret's Favor , a 1/1 token becomes a clumsy bolt, and any more creatures you play can hit for damage right away. Zurgo Bellstriker can even turn into a sort of Hellspark Elemental that returns to the hand.

Worried about sacrificing your creatures? Worry not! Doomed Traveler and Mogg War Marshal leave tokens behind, many of the other creatures generate more than one body, and best of all, once a Seance drops, you'll get extra uses out of all those abilities. Extricator of Sin   replaces your creatures with bigger ones (preferably Favor targets postcombat), and allows you to get death triggers from Seance tokens on the flip side. Pia and Kiraan Nalaar provide another way to win with artifacts, and at worst four power and two potential flying bolts.
