Mono Black vs Iona, Shield of Emeria

Good day every one!I would like to ask you for an advice.Many advices.Which are the best ways to deal with that daughter of a god Iona, Shield of Emeria ??? As a mono-black deck , I know many good ways how to handle her , while she is not being casted , or is in the graveyard before gets put onto the battlefield to kick my back.Especially when it's on turn 4 ... Zombify FTW ...legacy for the win.But oh well... any ideas?
AIDS.
By which I mean All Is Dust , not the actual...well, you get the idea.

All Is Dust is a terrible card and hasn't seen play in legacy unless the kid jamming it was beyond terribad

oh...I can't read, and assumed it was standard (where AIDS is anything but awful)...uh, yeah, vial will get you out of a hell of a lot of jams by its lonesome.

even in standard unless you're playing a eldrazi green deck its pretty horrible even in that type of deck.

no deck is actually "bad", and no card is actually "terrible". every card serves its purpose, from either a future or past set or a wierd combo that may actually wipe you out. if you got hit with AIDS the turn before you won then for you it was bad, but not the person who played it and may have saved himself.

AIDS, is great a great board wipe for artifact decks; that way none of your creatures die so you can swing for the win.

that is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard so Necrogen Censer is good? decks and cards are bad and if you don't think that it's because you're bad and don't realize it.
you kids are idiots and must think you're clever for throwing an s on the abbreviation of all is dust. though I'm not surprised as this is the level of intelligence I've come to expect from this site.

and your arguing with us. and Necrogen Censer works with proliferate, and the fact of it doesn't deal damage, it make you lose life. Near-Death Experience and Phyrexian Unlife /Soul Conduit . theres 2 cases of where it works as a way to drop it on yourself. get creative and not be an ass. he wanted a mono black way to kill iona, before black is called on him, not someone to tell him and others that hes stupid. maybe YOU need to grow up.

i would say Sadistic Sacrament , maybe some early Horrifying Revelation , Leyline of the Void so she never hits the grave, Mire Blight to discard his animate card maybe, an early Royal Assassin to kill on the attack (before it deals damage) as for mono black. for artifacts u gotta look yourself sorry :( i did black for you.

- In Alara-M10-Zen and Alara-M10-Zen-M11 standard, I won at least a dozen games with All Is Dust . Against superfriends? Drop one, stabilize for a couple turn, then killshot with Corrupt . Against Mythic, if you manage to force them into a lategame it'll wrap up their piles of toys and send them to the bin, leaving your opponent without cards. And, I've dropped one from a monoblack deck to kill an Iona naming black, and won shortly thereafter.
- Even Mudhole can win games. I don't know how the hell you would manage that, but it's possible.

Lol, Select needs to calm down. Raging for no reason never serves a purpose.
And, this thread is going completely away from its original purpose. I'm sorry I don't know legacy well enough to give an answer to the actual thread, but I feel I must try and get the kids to leave each other alone.
By this I mean Select needs to stop raging and everyone who is arguing for why All Is Dust is good should leave it. This is a Q&A thread, not a discussion thread. If you want to have a Discussion about All Is Dust then you should make a general thread. This thread should be a discussion of just the question that has been asked.

Take the loss round one, then use Memoricide the second game,I love the brittle and you'll soon have tons of fun things in new phyerixia to spend your life total's on
also just for future reference i used Necrogen Censer in a venser control deck with Tumble Magnet and AEther Adept and won a tourny like that. 7 out of 10 games were won with majority necrogen. as for "AIDS"it is not used often but there was a killer AIDS deck used in my meta a couple weeks ago. It raped everything... it was a green ramp with artifacts and eldrazi.

In my deck, Bloodchief Assault (I want recognition!), Necrogen Censer is one of the main combo cards. It is GOOD

Apparently you've never done a draft if you think Necrogen Censer is bad. Also good call on AEther Vial removing Iona! Real logical bud.
