Commander Deck Help forum

I'm looking for a way to give my creatures haste in an Azusa, Lost but Seeking commander deck. I don't have the list posted, but I'm looking to get better value out of Genesis Wave for really big. I've already got Akroma's Memorial, what are some other options?
Swiftfoot Boots and Lightning Greaves
edit - oh you mean ALL your creatures.. hmm

yeah, I've got a boots lying around that I might throw in, because it's better than nothing. Concordant Crossroads works really well. I'll need to get a copy. Thanks. let me know if you know of any others

You're welcome asasinater13 I tried looking up more on gatherer just now to no avail. It and the memorial is all I could find for blanket haste :(

Both green cards I can think of were mentioned already. Crossroads gives everything haste (including opponents) whereas surrak gives one of your things haste every combat.

There are only 2 cards: Akroma's Memorial and Concordant Crossroads. I just did a search of cards containing the words "creatures" and "haste", and that's all that came up.

Global haste isn't a green mechanic. For that, you'd need to dabble in Red.

Vedalken Orrery is an option. You could just EoT your spells instead.

dabbleing isn't an option for commander, Vedalken Orrery is cute, but I don't think it's correct for my deck. too narrow.
surrak is in the deck already, thanks for the recommendations guys. I'll have to pick up a crossroads.

Green usually gets around this with Fog type effects to stall until it can attack. Spore Frog and Spike Weaver are creatures that do this. Spearbreaker Behemoth might help endure a boardwipe in the meantime; I'm not sure what else in green could give you that much indestructible, it's more a white thing. Just my two cents.

I'm more concerned with decking myself out. maybe I'll go Feed the Pack + Worldspine Wurm. I just wish I had a sac outlet that I actually want in the deck.

I saw that Vedalken Orrery was written off as "too narrow" and as someone who plays it in every nonblue deck, I must say that I disagree. The ability to play things at instant speed is an invaluable asset that shouldn't be overlooked; it gives roundabout haste, protects your creatures from most board wipes, and keeps your opponents guessing (and guessing wrong).
I personally don't consider a deck to be optimal without this card (or another permanent that grants the same effect) in it.

I'm looking to play around Genesis Wave decking me and then not getting to untap to swing for kills. even if I do it on opponent's end step I'd need to leave cards in my library to untap and draw, and that's just less big of a play than getting the whole deck. I like the card, but I prefer it somewhere that I can have counterspells and threats, and represent having both. in azusa my opponents just have to guess which threat I have in hand, which isn't as helpful to represent. since it doesn't help post gen-wave and I don't have mcuh to represent (consistent play group, people who know most of my deck, so they know what they've got to be afraid of and when I've got possible threats), I don't think it's right for my deck.

The only one that immediately comes to mind for me is Concordant Crossroads which has backfired for me in the past xD!
