Im thinking of building an Arcades, the Strategist edh deck, is it any good? Any advice for the wall boy deck?

Walls that replace themselves like Wall of Blossoms and Wall of Omens. Walls that have a good rate Wall of Denial. Walls/defenders that produce positive mana like Axebane Guardian and Overgrown Battlement - these combo with things like Freed from the Real if you have a filter and you can become a wall ball deck. Lastly, cards like Rolling Stones and Assault Formation because you don't want to just lean on your commander for everything.

Arcades, the Strategist edh is a great deck. I've lost to it lots of times. They win with board wipes like Fell the Mighty and overrun effects like Tower Defense. The card advantage is very strong too. Very fun very cool deck.

Even though Rolling Stones seems like the perfect fit for Arcades, that is not the case. Reading the card carefully, you will notice that although it does, indeed, allow walls to attack, it does not enable them to deal damage based on their toughness. So you will be attacking for 0, most of the time.

See how that differs in Assault Formation, which is an arcades all-star!

Go for it! My Arcades the Strategist - BANT Walls is one of my favorite decks! You need to protect your commander well and have a good mana base to be able to recast him several times. It is crucial to have few more ways how to enable your walls to deal damage, High Alert is great.

When I built my Arcades deck, it had bad mana base, tapped lands etc., but anyway, I took it untested to my a duel commander tournament, and I was quite successful. I even managed two 2-0 wins and my final position was 30 from 60 people, which was not bad for my very first cEDH try with an untested deck. Since then the deck evolved a lot...
