Your curve definitely seems too high. I would take out a few of the many 4 cost cards like Settle the Wreckage would probably be better as x3 and Oketra the True since it doesn't quite fit here. This deck is more midrange/late game and Oketra is best with decks that aim to go really wide with creatures, but if you absolutely love it, at most, I would run x1. I personally prefer Cast Out over Ixalan's Binding but they're both great. If you replace some of the 4 or 5 cost cards with cheaper ones you should notice your deck get more consistent with having cheap cards in your opening hand, which is very important. There's a new 3 cost angel coming out in the new set that could be amazing here so that will be something to look forward to. Good luck!

Hi There, Nice deck but just a bit too much towards the end of the mana curved. Benalish and Lyra are bringing a nice synergy to your Angels and Knights. I'm not sure if Oketra brings value to your deck though! Have fun

I suggest two things....

1. Splash in Blue for Arcane Adaption, then put Torrential Gearhulk and Counterspells in mainboard. Also, Teferi, Hero of Dominaria would help with card advantage.

2. Angel of Condemnation and Angel of Sanctions should go in the deck, as well as Dauntless Bodyguard for indestructible purposes.

Thinking about kicking the Knights, going for Control with Angels...

Not sure about Benalish Marshall too. Gideon of Trials instead?

I'd love to make an angel deck and I'm not which would be most competitive between UW Control or going more WB aggro or mid range.

Hmmm, been testing the Deck on Cockatrice against a few of the popular Meta Decks, works quite well... Better than i thought it would...the Knights draw removals, so i rather keep them. I will test it in 2 weeks, first Chance for a FNM.

is this knights or angel's ? just curious cause in my opinion you need to pick one i don't think both in the same deck can work that good unless this is just a casual deck

It‘s Knights topped with Angels... i was surprised it works out quite well too... The Knights force the Opponent to use removal, makes the Angels a bit safer...sure, i could play classic Teferi UW Control and use the Angels as finishers, but i tried for a Midrange Brew, using all the good (Rotation Proof)White cards i got. WB-Control would be my next Try.

I would take out Syncopate for Essence Scatter

Would cut down on shalais and lyras as they are both legendary creature, pushing your curve up, and you should be fine at 2~3 copies. Should also consider mainboarding 1 Negate and run 24~25 lands. I agree with Cast Out over ixalan's binding considering it has flash and with your curve, you might need the cycle if you draw too costly of an opening hand.

Hey, consider black as the second color instead of blue?

Black for Knight of Malice which is really good with white Angels and of course Grace and History. Black gives access to great sideboard cards for control matchups: Duress, Doomfall and Arguel's Blood Fast  ^Flip. Blood Fast seems amazing with the lifelink Angel strategy of Lyra or Resplendent. It can shore up a big weakness of white which is draw. Black just seems like it can do more than blue for the overall deck strategy which is Knights/Angels midrange. Teferi is an amazing card, so is Negate, but you already have your five drop Lyra and I think black gives more sideboard control options than just Negate.

Malice, Grace, Resplendent, Shalai and Lyra is a very strong creature base. I'm not a fan of Marshal because I think restricts the manabase too much for what he gives and I think white needs a secondary color for control matchups.

I'm playing a similar Orzhov deck with Knights and Angels, Orzhov Ajani Midrange. I've cut back on Angels for Ajani and his strong reanimation of Malice, Grace, Freebooter and best of all Siphoner. Ajani gives fantastic card advantage with Siphoner. I've kept only Angels Lyra and Resplendent because they have broken interaction together.

I have to say that it makes me sad when I see a deck with Shalai and no green mana source. I've been running a W/G midrange deck with her and have seen some wondrous success and have lamented not being able to run angels and knights like you are. When I saw your deck I had to upvote simply for adding Treasure Map  ^Flip as I had a complete "Ah-ha!" moment when I realize you can make your cake and eat it too: W/B knights and STILL use Shalai's double green ability with Treasure Tokens! Well done: you've given me a few things to think about ;)

Yes, Treasure Map  ^Flip does a lot in this Deck, scry for Hand fix, treasure to either accelerate Resplendent Angels Token/lifegain Ability, get a Lyra out faster or use Shalai‘s +1/+1 on a wide Board. Glad you like this idea!

Have you considered Dowsing Dagger?

Swapped in Dowsing Dagger  ^Flip for Treasure Map  ^Flip, +2/+1 on Knight of Grace and Knight of Malice strengthens the Defense in the beginning, can be reattached later on an Angel, of needed.

2-3 in FNM, 1 loss cause i made stupid mistakes, 1 against hard Control, 1 cuz u need 2 rounds with ideal drawing against monored Wizards-burn. Ein against a Green Stompy and, unbelievably 2-0 against a TurboFog Variant...Had the luck of drawing Lost Legacy in the startinghand though, ...
