I just don't know... Blood Moon is going into the sideboard, I'll test around a bit to see what works. Thanks a lot for the opinion!

I really like the deck. I actually proxied this bad boy up and had a really fun time with it at my kitchen table group! :)

As far as Back to Nature goes, and other efficient enchantment hate, I suppose taxing effects would be helpful to slow them down while you get busy locking folks out of the game. I mean, there's Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, but honestly that's not on-theme and it also taxes the store-front, and that's just sloppy business. Is there a way to give enchantments indestructible, or an efficient sideboard option that could assist in retrieving them from the graveyard?

Unfortunately, after some research, there does not seem to be anything that makes them pay more or makes my enchantments indestructible... There's obviously Replenish (definitely sideboard worthy) and Argivian Find to get them back, but that wastes time and mana, which is exactly what my opponents would want.

I'm happy you like the deck! Just out of curiosity, how did it perform at your group?

This deck is "Saw" with cards! +1

I played it against a few things. My buddy's UWR control list folded multiple times because everything he did hurt him. I even beat a mono-red burn list, soundly. The only loss (and it was close) was against a WG Zoo aggro list, and it was only because of (you guessed it) Back to Nature. I'm adding Replenish to a SB for it and it should really assist that matchup. This deck even beat a mono-blue tribal Illusions tempo deck. Hilarious!

anooshapalooza - Thank you!

JakeHarlow - WOW, I'm actually shocked by those results. This beat a burn deck?? Not like I'm complaining though. Thanks a ton for trying this out, and if you ever do again, tell me how it goes!

+1 Mean and fun equals an awesome deck, my friend.

Thank you Loched_tappedout! It is a certified friend-loser for sure!

I'd hate you, but I don't know you. I like its concept.

Happy that you don't know me :) Thanks!

Oppressive Rays maybeboard, but you already seem to do fine against aggro

InDirectX

Sorry for the time span, I saw the comment and forgot to answer... Facepalm

Anyways, Oppressive Rays might be interesting, but as a general rule, this deck just won't do well early game. If you can hold until T4, you basically win though. And I already have two very important one-drops (namely the tutor and Black Vise), so it won't really work. Thanks for the comment though!

Plea for Guidance for all the tutors. Also, Kataki, War's Wage could be in the SB. Because taxes. It looks solid, though, and ridiculously fun to play. +1!

6tennis God damn it notifications. Why do you erase every X hours??? Very sorry for not responding earlier.

Plea for Guidance was very heavily considered, but it's pretty high on the ramp and by that time I've either won or lost (even Sphere of Safety is usually an overkill).

Ooh, taxes, what a wonderful idea! Kataki, War's Wage is a creature however, and I'm trying to keep this creatureless. Is there an enchantement equivalent?

Hahaha this is hilarious, +1! Maybe Suppression Field because of the previously mentioned taxes. Though that would be more of a SB option.

Lol that one land is double the price of the deck. Over double actually xD

I would suggest going budget on your lands and getting Plateau instead :P

On Kataki, War's Wage: there is Energy Flux, but that is blue...

+1 for the awesomeness!

March 31, 2015 5:48 p.m.

JLenzen Definitely going to be considered! Thanks!

6tennis I now really feel stupid. Absolutely going in. Thanks man!

Nefferean and InDirectX There's already a budget version of this deck, but I have purposefully tried not to use too many of the ridiculous vintage cards because I feel like they might alter the original idea behind this deck. Thanks though guys!

March 31, 2015 5:54 p.m.

Jaceblue12 This DID use to be Jeskai colors, but I decided that just that it didn't work. If it were ever blue, that would definitely be sideboard, but I'm going to try and stick with this for now. Thanks!

Im rather confused about this. Doesn't Karma do damage to each player = to the number of swamps that player controls. So why do you have that in the mainboard? And even more so, Urborg kinda deals even more damage to you .-.

Saberxbro says... #25

Nevermind got it, Urborg makes everything a swamp, and you can't take damage on your turn because of Personal Sanctuary
