I've seen plenty of mono-white soldier decks at FNM, myself having one of them. I'm trying to improve on it a little bit by adding in a splash of green to provide a little more oomph and protection from board clears, which are typically what destroy mono-white soldier decks. My biggest doubt about this deck is the ability to play the WW soldier cards (Kor Aeronaut, Kazandu, Armorsmith) without running into mana issues. Right now the main focus is on dealing with Day of Judgment/Pyroclasm/Volcanic Fallout/Jund Charm/Maelstrom Pulse/Martial Coup, stuff that essentially rapes soldier decks.
