Game of Bones: Mono Green Self Mill

Modern Budget Midrange Mill Mono-Green

BMpatrol

As a budget player I love taking deck archetypes and making them work competitively. For me, that usually means making a mono color version so it becomes extremely consistent when compared to its more expensive counterpart. You won't be seeing anything like Abrupt Decay here, but you'll be seeing a whole lot of creative and synergistic cards that might warrant you a good amount of wins and even more interesting reactions from your local FNM! This is a Mono Green Self Mill deck, with a focus on pumping creatures by shoveling bodies into your graveyard. Feedback and comments are much appreciated!

Buffing Your Creatures

  • Gather the Pack: This card is a staple for the deck, allowing you to find a specific creature or land to set you up for your turn and also buff creatures on the field with the self-mill.
  • Tracker's Instincts : A great card for shoveling lands from your deck into your hand and dumping everything else into your graveyard where it belongs.
  • Satyr Wayfinder: A perfect addition to the deck, because playing him allows you to find a land card and buff your creatures with the mill, and even if he is sent to the graveyard he is still doing his part as a creature to help buff those that are on the field.

MVP's

  • Splinterfright: A self-sufficient card that mills yourself every turn to make itself and your other creatures stronger.
  • Boneyard Wurm: An excellent 2-drop that follows the theme of getting stronger from your milling spells and other creatures.
