I'm working on a list for our glorious master, and Faith of the Devoted is like a more amusing Exsanguinate for me. What's even better is it takes the same enablers as Exsang to pop off, so its not like your missing anything really, just another way to turn it on, and it can sneak up on people and get past pesky blue decks without the use of our masters great tree. The Faith of those Devoted to the great Hypnotoad shall tear down all.

Well, compared to your list it lacks bling :) and high quality manabase. I would just like your opinion since you've build this beauty :DI am thinking about adding Faith of the Devoted instead of Skullwinder, that is atm my only thing out of place.

Is it legal/possible to use Collective Brutality in place of Exsanguinate when utilizing the Dakmor Salvage/Skirge Familiar combo with The Great Toad? I noticed that card and thought it could potentially double up for Exsanguinate but I am unsure about how the interaction/stack/timings would work. Thought? Advice?

Hello, it's certainly legal to use, but has the same problem as using Geth's Verdict. Counting on it as your game closer means you have to cycle through you deck so many times that it becomes annoying. Exsanguinate is still the preferred kill spell

How do you win with Collective Brutality or Geth's Verdict? Just by constantly casting them then cycling them back into the deck by drawing your library and discarding an Eldrazi titan?

I use Torment of Hailfire instead ox Exsanguinate, but it is pretty much the same.

Not the same really. Torment allows them to avoid damage, which could be relevant if we're not going infinite, plus it doesn't gain us life which could also matter in certain games. Still a great card though...

True, though the higher their life is, more potent Torment is. Both cards are great in any case :)

I find Torment of Hailfire easier win with when not infinite. even taking into account the damage they negate, i tend to get more damage. Torment doesnt even need to kill them, if i make you discard you hand and sacrifice your rocks, you're very unlikely to come back. the downside is only noticable if they're a heavy token deck that somehow never got their board wiped.

Ever thought about Oath of Druids ?

I dont know what I would cut, but I just got the card. So I will be play testing it. I would probably say Birds of Paradise, just because we will be ramping faster with Oath of Druids

That's something to consider. Let me know how it does for you and I'll consider adding it. I don't get a lot of chance to play this deck lately

Oath of Druids is banned in mtgo 1 v 1 format. Its also kinda slow. It would be better as a sideboard card if you are going against a token deck or something.

Oath of Druids is also a great card to fill the graveyard

Can I recommend replacing Exsanguinate with Torment of Hailfire? It's functionally the same in an infinite mana combo, but can't be flipped on you like the former can if someone has a Tainted Remedy or a Rain of Gore on the field.

Although Tainted Remedy and Rain of Gore are very rare in my meta, I do agree that Hail does belong in here, maybe along with Exsanguinate.... or without.
