Preliminary Testing —April 11, 2015
I ran the game against a couple variants on G/W aggro at last FNM, and it does pretty admirably. Most games I manipulate the game so the opponent is in topdeck mode and I have enough blockers that they can't really attack. This gives me enough time to draw into a win-con. I've also noticed that Dark Deal comes up way too often. It's a pretty bad card on its own, and in many cases activating Tasigur just gives me a useless Dark Deal. Might swap out 1 or two to run Despise in the mainboard. As always, I would love to hear your guys' thoughts on the deck, so please leave some feedback!
Roast kills the angler, with that much blue You might want to consider dig over treasure cruise and replace angler with hexproof silumgar as a strong finisher, also a couple of negates to protect waste not seem relevant, especially against The xw xxw decks going around.

Yeah, it definitely seems like removal is going to be an issue post-DTK. Get some hexproof in, and some counterspells, and hope the deck doesn't suffer too much as a result.

You have 8 fetchlands and only 6 lands they can go and get?

.......I can't believe I did that. And that no one else mentioned it. I'll fix it real quick.

Sidisi, Undead Vizier seems like she is perfect for a deck like this, shes a zombie, she can exploit a token or herself and find anything you need, then Tasigur can bring her back again.

Maybe do a green splash? Commune with Gods really helps Tutor a Waste Not and adds to your Delve.

Hey mate, love the deck and game plan, going to see if I can come up with any suggested changes later tonight. One thing that I don't get, why are you running Bloodstained Mire?

Kettleback: Bloodstained Mire is really useful in that it helps thin lands out of my deck (as in, when I draw it, I pulled two lands out of my deck instead of one, which makes me less likely to draw a land later). It also puts an extra card in my graveyard, which helps with all the delve spells that I'm running. And because the deck is largely black, it doesn't throw off my mana much at all.

Also if you play urborg you can fetch an island with a mire. Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

shepherdofire: unless I'm misunderstanding something, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth actually won't enable Bloodstained Mire to fetch Islands, as it only affects lands, and not land cards. Permanent cards are not permanents of their type until they hit the field. That said, mire is the builder's choice here because swamp fetch is far more relevant to this deck than island fetch.

thatcardguy is definitely right. Thanks for the input.

Encase in Ice seems better than wound. Wound's only big advantage is that it hits caryatids.

Wound is there to get around hexproof. It hits Dragonlord Ojutai, Fleecemane Lion, in addition to the other white threats. Red stuff I can hit with Downfall no problem. That said, I like the idea of Encase in Ice for Stormbreath or the inevitable Atarka decks that crop up, so I'll definitely keep it in mind.

Extremely strong deck. IMO, You need 2-3 torrent elemental in the 75 (side or main, your choice) it has really good match ups against most decks, the only probably with it I've found is there is a lot of fliers out at the moment. Sarkhan the unbroken is a huge problem unless you know its coming and save 3 mana and a hero's. Torrent can block his token (and the majority of dragons for that matter) even if it cant kill it to stop you from dying before you get 2 x gurmag or tasigur .etc.

Flying is definitely going to be a problem for this deck. Stuck 3 in the side, as I think Risen Executioner is either going to go into the mainboard or get cut.

mhmm, im also running 3 in the side. Played few flying heavy decks lost game 1, won game 2 and 3 like...4 times :)

Good to know. What are your thoughts on Master of the Feast? Someone pointed him out to me this week, and he seems like a very good inclusion.

absolutely run Master of the Feast, Im not sure what you would want to take out... but the extra draw on your turn will fuel your discard abilities, especially mid to late game when your opponent is top decking (I built a deck like this back around when M15 dropped, and the deck really stalls out once your opponent has no hand). plus he is just a beast of a turn 3 play.
my other recommendation would be to look at Liliana Vess, as a free discard each turn is really nice, plus the ability to call cards to the top of the deck becomes a big thing when you need that specific draw next turn.
